About Us

Groveton Funeral Home was established in 1930 under the name Biscamp Funeral Home. J.E. Biscamp and his wife owned and operated this establishment for 42 years then sold it to Terry B. Cartwright and his wife in 1972. Mr. Cartwright owned and operated this location until 2004 then purchased the facilities where Jackson Funeral Home, then Waller-Thornton Funeral Home operated. This facility then underwent major reconstruction where the family room and covered parking were added.
