Memorial services for Wilma Nadine Brennan Tanner will be held at First Methodist Church on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 4P.M. in Groveton, Texas.

Wilma spent her career as an attorney. She graduated from Texas A&M in one of the first law classes that women attended. Wilma loved to craft and had a special gift at creating beautiful artwork. She enjoyed spending time with friends and loved ones. She loved animals. She was a very experienced equestrian. She will be remembered fondly as a caring person.

Wilma was an active member of First Methodist Church of Groveton, Texas and a current member of Eastern Star.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents father: William Charles Ricketts and mother: Loda Mea Ricketts

Wilma is survived by her husband Lawrence Tanner of Kennard, Texas and daughter Laura Rice and husband Robert of Groveton, TX
