On February 28, 2024, William Don Tubbs went home to be with the Lord at the age of seventy-eight.
Mr. Tubbs was born on November 6, 1945, to Don McKinney Tubbs and Eueline (Johnson) Tubbs, in Trinity, Texas. He worked as a pipefitter for most of his life. He also served in the United States Army for six years. Mr. Tubbs loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them as often as possible. He especially enjoyed time with his beloved grandchildren.  Bill also loved being outdoors where he could hunt and fish. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Tubbs; parents, Don and Eueline Tubbs; and sister, Marlena Soward.
He is survived by his children:  daughter, Donna Murphy and husband, Marvin of Groveton, TX; son, James Tubbs and wife, Candi of Meeker, OK; grandchildren: Robert Floyd of Aurora, CO, Jesse Murphy of Groveton, TX, Christopher Stephens, Aydrianna Stephens, Penelope Tubbs, James Tubbs, Madeline Tubbs, all of Meeker, OK; brother, Jimmy Reddell  of League City, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Death leaves a memory no one can heal. But love leaves a memory no one can steal. He will always be loved and missed dearly by his family and friends.
Friends and family are cordially invited to graveside services at 10 am on Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Bueford Rogers officiating.
