William Leslie Murray, age 81, of Trinity, Texas was born in Tyler, Texas and passed away on February 10, 2019 in Webster, Texas after his courageous battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Trinity, Texas with Pastor Carl Allen officiating.
Mr. Murray loved to spend time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going on camping trips and taking the grandchildren out on the boat to fish. He also enjoyed grilling his "famous to his family BBQ" and catching up on his family's lives. He was also an avid gardener and loved to keep his yard looking beautiful.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Murray; parents, Woodrow and Della Davis Murray; granddaughter, Tammy Jo Rumfolo; brother, Ernie Hardy and one younger brother. He is survived by his sister, Marita Hudson of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, Bob Hamil of New Orleans, LA; step-children: son, Harry Sealy and wife, Cammy Sealy of Houston, TX; daughter, Rita Sealy of Houston, TX and daughter, Susie Sealy Rumfolo of Riverside, TX; five grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of other beloved relatives and friends also survive.
