William Floyd "Bill" Blair of Groveton, Texas, was born on September 21, 1944, in Groveton, Texas to Jailie Floyd and Lucille (Collins) Blair and passed away to his eternal home on August 17, 2021, at the age of 76 years in Groveton, Texas.

Mr. Blair is survived by his wife, Elaine (Rushing) Blair of Groveton, TX: Son, James William Blair of Mansfield, TX; Son, Floyd Johnson Blair and wife, Margaret of Midlothian, TX; Step-daughter, Terrie Lynn Evans of New Orleans, LA; Step-son, Michael Raymond Evans of New Orleans, LA.; Grandchildren: James Kody Blair, Kinsey Britton, William Kasey Blair, Brice Blair, Brock Blair, Beau Blair, Michael Evans, Jazmyn Stalsby, Stormee Stalsby; Numerous Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

"Bill" is preceded in death by his father, Jailie Floyd Blair; Mother, Lucille (Collins) Blair; wife, Judy Joan Blair; and Sisters, Shirley Lynn Renfro, and Billie Snyder.

"Bill" loved to play poker, or any card game and he especially enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Bill volunteered for the East Texas motorcycle Enthusiast make a wish program. He was a family man and loved spending time with them watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Mr. Blair was a Lifetime Member of The American Legion in Mansfield, TX post #624, and he was also a member of the Elks Lodge in Desoto, TX.

Visitation will begin, Friday, August 20, 2021, at 6:00 PM at Groveton Funeral Home and funeral services will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Groveton Funeral Chapel in Groveton, TX with Carl McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
