Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Odom, 75 of Apple Springs, Texas will be held on Monday at 10:00. a.m.
at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with Bro. Nimmons officiating. Interment will
be in the Burketown Cemetery.
Mr. Odom was born February 2, 1937 in Trinity County and passed away in Lufkin, Texas on August 25,
2012. He was a member of the Apple Springs Baptist Church and a retired Commissioner for Trinity
County Pct. #4.
He is survived by his wife Lois Tullos Odom of Apple Springs; Daughters: Cheryl Odom Hildebrand and husband David of Apple Springs and Tonya Odom of Apple Springs; Brother & Sister in law: James and
Virginia Odom of Apple Springs; Two grandchildren: Justin Hildebrand and Tara & Kyle Campbell, all of
Apple Springs; two great grandchildren: Jaycee Hildebrand and Cooper Campbell of Apple Springs.
Special friends: Pam White and Amanda Roden.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Odom and Eva Chapman Odom.
Pallbearers will be Roy Lynn Tullos, James Henry Elliott, Larry Turner, Greg Campbell, Gaylon Rodriquez,
and J.Frank Lamb.  Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Hildebrand, Kyle Campbell, Randy Odom, Ronald
Odom, Coy Due and Jerry Tullos.
In lieu of flowers memorials my be made to the Apple Springs Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Sunday form 6-8 p.m. at the Groveton Funeral Home.
