Wayne Allen Gibson, Jr., aka "Bubba" was born in Houston, Texas on December 16, 1972 to Wayne Allen Gibson, Sr. and Rhonda Bass Whitley. He passed away on December 10, 2018 in Groveton, Texas at the age of 46 years.
"Bubba" was a kind-hearted man that never met a stranger. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved playing pool, dominos, cards and anything else that allowed him to talk trash. He loved life and cherished every minute that he had on this earth. He was a warrior and truly loved to live his life to its fullest.
"Bubba" is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Allen Gibson, Sr.; grandmother, Wanda June Bass; grandfather, Marlon Bass; grandmother, Louise Gibson; grandfather, Frank Gibson. His survivors include his two sons, Chase Allen Gibson and Dawson Chumley, both of Groveton, TX; mother and step-father, Rhonda and John Whitley of Groveton, TX; sister, Melissa Watkins of Houston, TX; brother, Bruce Whitley of Houston, TX; sister, Jo Anne Norsworthy of Houston, TX; and a host of special nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Groveton Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will begin at 2:30 p.m. at Alibi's in Groveton, TX on Sunday, December 16, 2018.
The family would like to invite all of Wayne Allen Gibson, Jr. aka "Bubba' s" friends to come and join them in remembering his life out at Alibi's.
The family would also like to send out a special thank you to all of "Bubba's friends who have called or stopped by to express their condolences during this difficult time in their life.
