Virginia Luce Odom was born on December 18, 1940 in Nogalus Prairie, TX, the daughter of Archie Lee Luce and Pearline Hathorn Luce and passed away May 7, 2018 in Nogalus Prairie, TX.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Burketown Cemetery in Apple Springs, TX with Bro. James Whittlesey officiating.

Virginia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.  She loved to spend time in her yard.  Gardening and planting flowers were her passion.  She loved to be with her family and her friends.  Mrs. Odom loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church services at Calvary Baptist Church with her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Virginia L. Odom's name to Calvary Baptist Church:  2945 FM 357, Apple Springs, TX 75926.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Pearline Luce; brother, RL Luce; sister, Betty M. Jones and a grandson, B.J. Odom.  Her survivors include her loving husband of  59years on June 6 ^th , James M. Odom of Nogalus Prairie, TX; son, Ronald C. Odom and wife, Theresa Odom of Nogalus Prairie, TX; son, Randy L. Odom and wife, Bonnie Odom of Nogalus Prairie, TX; sister, Marie Prothro and husband, Seldon Prothro; sister, Dorothy Warren; sister, Elaine Roooney; sister, Darlene Whittlesey and husband, James Whittlesey; brother, David Luce and wife, Polly Luce; brother, Danny Luce and wife, Evelyn Luce; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also, survive.
