Vickie Lynn Barber, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. She was born on January 31, 1954, to Leroyce Burran and Betty Meeks. Vickie was known for her sassy, girly personality, and her love of self-care. She took pride in looking her best and carried herself with confidence and grace everywhere she went. She believed firmly in Christ and was a proud part of the NANA Elders Corp, where she enjoyed meaningful fellowship and friendship.
More than anything else, Vickie cherished her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and her face always lit up when they were near. Her family was her world, and she poured love, humor, and warmth into every moment spent together.
Vickie is preceded in death by her father, Leroyce Burran; mother, Betty Meeks; brother, Jeff Burran; son, Charles Conway; and husband, Bobbie Barber.
She is survived by her children: son Zachary Conway; son Kevin Ikner; daughters Ahley Conway and Tonya Conway. She is also survived by her brothers: Mike Burran and wife Debbie; David Burran and wife Annette. Her beloved grandchildren include Brandon and Lauren Conway, Courtney and Johnathan Rester, and Matt Westerman. She leaves behind great-grandchildren Keegan, Riland, Jordan, Ryker, Kayler, Blayden, and Emri. She also leaves her special friend, Debbie Harrison, along with a host of other relatives and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Graveside services for Vickie Lynn Barber will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Weches Cemetery, with Minister Leon Wallace officiating.

Vickie lived a life filled with spirit, style, and a deep love for those around her. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her willingness to show up for the people she loved, and the joy she found in the simple moments, especially those shared with her family. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, strength, and sparkle will continue shining through the generations she leaves behind. May her memory be a blessing and a comfort to all who knew her.
