Vernon Taylor Cantrell, Jr., of Apple Springs, Texas, was born on May 30, 1935, in Plainview, Texas to Vernon Taylor Cantrell Sr. and Mary Rebecca Eakin and passed away to his eternal home on November 19, 2021, at the age of 86 years surrounded by his loving family.
Vernon is survived by his loving daughter, Sarah Bolton and husband, Audra Bolton, III; grandchildren: Audra Bolton, IV, Malacie Bolton, Daisy Bolton, and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends also, survive.
Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Cantrell, Sr. and Mary Cantrell; wife: Elizabeth Cantrell; sisters: Linda Parks, and Sandra Lindeman.
Vernon loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. He also loved to watch television, especially college football and the Dallas Cowboys was his favorite. He spent most of his life driving over the road. Then after that he drove the polite truck until his health would not let him drive anymore.
