Graveside services for Vernoith Ray Parrott, age 52 of Groveton, Texas will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs, Texas with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating the services. Interment will follow in the Bennett Cemetery.

Vernoith was born June 11, 1961 in Lufkin, Texas to Vernoith Leon and Joyce Dean English Parrott. He was a lifetime resident of the Groveton area and was a Baptist by faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his children, Alan Parrott, of Batesville, Arkansas, Vernoith Ray Parrott, Jr., of Lufkin, Texas, Kristin Sue Parrott, of Batesville, Arkansas; sisters, Jean Humphries, of Lufkin, Texas, Rita Enner, of Gladewater, Mississippi, Margaret Gore, of Groveton, Texas and Linda Calloway, of Silsby; and two grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.
