Thelma Lee Friday Hebert passed from this life into eternity on September 3, 2019 in Crockett, TX at the age of 99 years, 10 months and 12 days. She was born in Friday, TX on November 20, 1919, the daughter of Oda Friday and Ada Read Friday. She graduated from High School and later met the love of her life, Joseph William Hebert. Thelma loved being a mother and she especially loved when she became a grandmother and a great grandmother. She and Joseph had two amazing children together and they worked hard to always make sure that their family was comfortable. Thelma worked as a nurse's aide until her retirement. In her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting and she especially loved to cook for her family. Mrs. Hebert belonged as a lifetime member at First Baptist Church in Friday.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Hebert; parents, Oda and Ada Friday and her three sisters, Reba Rosser, Blanch Sanders and Sadie McQueen. She is survived by her loving daughters: Patricia Evans and husband, Lewis Evans of Friday, TX and Beverly Kirby and husband, Gene Kirby of Killeen, TX; grandchildren: Janet Evans Hutchinson, Kelly Kirby and Jason Kirby; great grandchildren: Kaylee Kirby, Cooper Kirby and Joe Berkshire and a host of other relatives and friends, also survive.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2019 at Friday Baptist Church in Friday, TX with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Ellis Prairie Cemetery in Friday, TX.
