Terry Lynn Norsworthy, 72, of Stafford, Texas passed in his sleep on December 1, 2019 at his home in Stafford, Texas. He was born on March 21, 1947 in Groveton, Texas to Grover Cleveland Norsworthy and Will (Collier) Norsworthy. He graduated from High School and then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. Terry served during war dates of August 8, 1966-June 23, 1968. He grew up attending church at Church of Christ and even though he couldn't attend services regularly, he read his bible regularly. He was a member of the VFW and Elks North Central District.
He is preceded in death by his father, Grover Cleveland Norsworthy; his mother, Willie Lee Norsworthy and by a brother, Edward Norsworthy. His survivors include his children: son, Timothy Lee Norsworthy, Sr. of Meadows, Place, TX; daughter, Tara Liane Norsworthy of Spring, TX; daughter, Patricia Moreno Damon of Rosenburg, TX and son, Jason Norswothy of Amarillo, TX; brother, Randy Norsworthy of Buffalo, TX; brother, Jerry Norsworthy; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, also survive.
Visitation will be held at Groveton Funeral Home on Wednesday December 4, 2019 beginning at 6pm to 8pm. Burial services will be held at East Prairie Cemetery on Thursday December 5, 2019 at 2pm.
