Shirley Elaine (Hefley) Brister of Apple Springs, Texas, was born on March 25, 1947, in Orange, California to Roy and Naomi (Austin) Hefley and passed away to her eternal home on September 10, 2021, at the age of 74 years in Apple Springs, Texas.

Mrs. Brister is survived by her daughter; Cindy Foster of Beaverton, Oregon; sons, Ron Zoller and wife, Sandy of Caseville, IL., Justin Brister and wife, Brandy of Apple Springs; daughter, Jessica Brister of Lufkin, TX.; stepmother; Gwendolyn Hefley of West Minster, CA.; brothers: Phil Hefley and wife, Arlene of Eagle Point, Oregon, Don Hefley of Phoenix, AZ., Paul Hefley of West Mister, CA.; sister: Chrissy Zeason of Priest River, ID. Grandchildren: Jake Zoller and wife, Kathy of Apple Springs, TX. , Kylie Caruso and husband, Brett of Las Vegas, Nevada, Adrienne Foster, Braden Foster of Beaverton, Oregon., Austin, Brooke, and Maverick Brister of Apple Springs, TX., Scarlet and Caitlin Blackburn of Lufkin, Tx., Anthony Maliszewski of Edwardsville, IL., great grandchildren: Aidan Caruso of Las Vegas, Nevada; numerous Extended Family, nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends also survive.

Shirley loved spending time with her family. Shirley was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed listing to music. Gambling was one of Shirley's past times. She also loved Angels, Rainbows, and of course Popsicles.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Naomi Hefley; Husband: Jimmy "Bull" Brister; brother: Dean Hefley; sister-in-law: Rosalyn Hefley.
