Funeral services for Sherry Anne Moore, age 68, of Huntington, formerly of Groveton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 18, in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, with Brother Lewis Jones officiating. The family will be receiving visitors Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Groveton Funeral Home.

Sherry was born on June 30, 1947 to Joseph Wade and Lavetta White in Mobile, Alabama and passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Lufkin. Sherry was a vivacious woman. She always enjoyed being "on the go" and spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and sitting around when she could to read a good book. She also loved to drink her coffee, crocheting and playing games.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter, Jaimie Lyons and husband, Paul Lyons of Nacogdoches; daughter, Lisha Miller of Magnolia; daughter, Niclole Flanagan and husband, Donald Flanagan of Lufkin; brother, Buddy Wade and wife, Nyla Wade of Portland, Oregon; sister-in-law, Elain Wade of Montgomery; grandchildren, Kyle Frith and wife, Sarah Frith of Elkhart, Kelly Green and husband, Steven Green of Palestine, Jennie Hutchens and husband, Joseph Hutchens of Palestine, Karla Frith of Houston, Morgan Miller of Magnolia, Jackson Miller of Magnolia, Megan Miller of Lufkin, Cheyenne Giacona of Lufkin, Nicholas Giacona of Friday; eleven great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ms. Moore is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Wade and Lavetta White; two brothers, Ronnie Wade and Gene Wade; two sisters, Judy Branch and Debbie Martin and a great granddaughter.
