Sharon Gail Goodman

Sharon Gail Goodman age 68 of Groveton was born on January 10, 1945 in Houston, Texas to her parents, Jack and Gladys (Bambrick) Cherry and passed away on October 12, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Sharon was very active with just about anything that had to do with helping with youth. She enjoyed playing dominos with her local group of friends and was a member of First Baptist Church of Groveton.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, James William Goodman. Her survivors include her husband, James Goodman, of Groveton, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Holli Goodman, of Houston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Trey Edward, of Houston, Texas; daughter, Chris Feisti, of Conroe, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Tiffany Goodman, of Shepherd, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Mrs. Goodman will be held from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Groveton.

Funeral services for Sharon Gail Goodman will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Groveton with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment will follow the services in the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas.
