Sammy Charline Pruitt Tullos, age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 12, 2013, in Groveton, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 14, at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church with interment to follow in Glenwood Cemetery. She will be escorted to her final resting place by her pallbearers, Phil DeLaFosse, John Rester, Luis Rodriquez, Joe Scott Evans, Benny McClain and Clifford Reynolds. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time.

Charline was born April 8, 1934, in Groveton to Lloyd Samuel and Beatrice DeLaFosse Pruitt. Charline graduated from Groveton High School Class of 1951. She married the love of her life, Earl E. Tullos and they lived a happy life together in Groveton for many years until 1989, when Earl died at the age of 59. She was the owner and operator of Charline's Florist and Gifts as well as "T" Oil Company until retirement.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Tullos; parents, Lloyd and Beatrice Pruitt; sister, Genevieve Pruitt. Her survivors include her two daughters, Charlotte Y'Barbo and husband, Ricky, Sharlene Yarbrough and husband, Arthur; three grandsons, Andrew Y'Barbo, Samuel Yarbrough and Caleb Yarbrough; brother, Dean Pruitt; all of Groveton, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
