Sallie Faye (Rosser) Frierson of Austin, formerly of Houston, TX was born on September 14,1926 in Friday, TX to the late Thomas Rosser and Gladys (Preston) Rosser and went to her eternal home on March 27,2021 at the age of 94 years in Austin, TX.

She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She would spend hours down on the floor with her granddaughters building forts and playing games. She also enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors, sharing jokes and especially liked to play pranks. Sallie enjoyed shopping and loved to bargain hunt. Sallie was also a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Frierson is survived by her Son, Bill Frierson and wife, Barbara of Austin, TX; Grandchildren: Katie Frierson of Dallas, TX, Emily Frierson of Austin, TX; Sister, June Simpson of Dallas, TX; her extended family, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends also survive.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Thomas and Gladys (Preston) Rosser; Husband, Earl Frierson of 57 years; Brothers: W.G. Rosser and Isaac (Buck) Rosser; Sisters: Pauline Rosser, Wanda Page, Clementine Thompson, Cora Mae (Whistle) McMurray, Minnie Keller, Maurine Jenkins (Red).

Graveside service for Mrs. Sallie will begin Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Ellis Prairie cemetery in Groveton, Tx. with Bro. Gaylon Page officiating.
