Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Marie Fuller Choate of Groveton, Texas will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Groveton, Texas with interment in the Glenwood Cemetery. Revs. Jack McMahon and Everett McCollum will officiate.
Mrs. Choate was born February 14, 1936 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away on December 19, 2012 in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 76. She was a teacher/librarian of the Groveton ISD for many years and was the pianist for the First United Methodist Church for 30 years. She also was a member of the Chamber of Commerce.Groveton VFD auxiliary and Beta Sigma Phi.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Samuel Hyde Fuller and Cecil Beatrice Maxey Fuller and her husband William Euel "Jack" Choate.
She is survived by son: Thad Choate of Groveton; Daughters and sons-in-law: Beth and John Folsom of Lufkin, Jennifer and Travis Forrest of Apple Springs  and Laura and Charlie Talakkottur of Tampa Florida;
Sister and brother in law: Betty and Robert Barr of Houston, Brother and Sister in law: Sam and Marsha Fuller ; Grandchildren Weston and Jaclyn Forrest, Andy Folsom and Ava Talakkottur; 7 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-6 at Groveton Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ron Lankford, Andy Folsom, Buddy Smith, Jonathan Lankford  Charlie Talakkottur and George Whittlesey.
