Rosalie Lorenz Haddox, 86, of Apple Springs, formerly of Electra went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 21, 2015 in Lufkin. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 23, 2015 at Bennett Cemetery with Pastor Lonnie Vallance officiating.
Ms. Haddox was born on April 4, 1928 in Electra, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. Rosalie loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She was a hard worker and always did what she could to provide for her family. She had a love for cleaning and never could stop herself from always doing so wherever she went. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends. She also loved to be outside in her yard and you could see how much she enjoyed doing so by her beautiful flower beds. She was a member of the V.F.W. and helped them to organize many activities.
Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Rosa Lorenz; her son, Danny Harden; a sister, Dorothy Adams and her brother, Roland Lorenz. She leaves behind her two daughters, Debra Haddox Davis, of Apple Springs and Vickie Harden Robb, of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Krystal Hollis and husband, Gannon, Cody Allen, Cary Allen, Lisa Robb, Karen Robb, Venus Harden, Eric Harden and Joseph Harden; great-grandchildren, Gage, Gunner, Jay and Gideon; brothers, Marvin Lorenz, of Abilene and Sidney Lorenz, Jr., of Wichita Falls; numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.
