Funeral services for Rosa Mae Walker, age 88, of Apple Springs, formerly of Groveton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas.

Mrs. Walker was born November 1, 1926 at her home in Trinity County, Texas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, Andrew and Martha Hobbs; her husband, "Mutt" Walker; son, Mike Walker; sisters, Addie Owens, Bessie Evans and Annie Thornton; and brother, JT Hobbs.

Surviving family members that will cherish her memories are her daughter, Delores Rogers and husband, Jackie Rogers; grandchildren, Kim Blalock, Roy Rogers, Stephen Rogers, Michael Walker, Adam Walker and Susan Cupit; thirteen great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Llana Vaughn and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends, also survive.

Pallbearers, Stephen Rogers, Roy Rogers, Hunter Blalock, Chase Blalock, Adam Walker and Michael Walker.
