Robert L. "Buddy Wolf" Smith of Trinity, Texas, was born on April 21, 1956, in Trinity, Texas to William Haywood Smith and Janie J. Thornton and passed away to his eternal home on November 13, 2021, at the age of 65 years with his loving family by his side.
"Buddy Wolf" is survived by his loving mother Janie J. Thornton, who devoted her entire life to his well-being and comfort, brothers James Charles "JC" Smith, Donald R. Smith, and J.A. Smith, and sister Heavenly J. Boggs, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends also, survive.
"Buddy Wolf" is preceded in death by his father, William Haywood Smith; and brothers: William A. "Pete" Smith, and Lonnie E. Smith. His siblings would like to acknowledge Aunt Nelda F. Lightfoot for the extraordinary care and help that she provided to mother and "Buddy Wolf". Heaven has gained our most beloved blessing and he will live on forever in our hearts.

A private celebration of Life and internment of his ashes will be held at a later date.
