Robert James Merrell was called back home by God on Monday, June 16, 2025. Bob
was born on September 11 th , 1951, in Grand Forks, ND to Robert and Lillian. He moved
with his family to Orville, CA where he met the love of his life Cindy in 1980 and raised
two beautiful children together. They moved to Utah in 1984, but later moved to Apple
Springs, TX in 2021, finding the property of their dreams.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Ceceal Ann Merrell, his children Melissa (Mike),
Robert (Charity), siblings Bill, Julie, Jim, Jean. He has eight grandchildren Zachary
(Brittany), Stephanie, Aubryanna (Durran), Cody, Gage, Cheyenne, Mary, Shannon
(Tyler) and 9 great grandchildren Tegan, Raimi, James, Melanie, Adrian, Sullivan,
Aurora, Paisley, and Kai. He has four nieces Jennifer (Luis), Mallori (Miki), Nicki
(Walter), Lacey (Lanny) and one nephew Dustin (Allison). He is proceeded in death by
his father Robert Arthur Merrell and his mother Lillian Mary Bristow.
The family will be doing a celebration of life to honor Robert's memory on Sunday, June
22 nd , 2025 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at their home in Apple Springs. If you would like to
