Funeral services for Mr. Ray Roberts, 84 of the PossumWalk Community, will be held on Tuesday,
August 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel. Interment
will be in the Pennington Cemetery. Bro. Charles Butler will officiate.
Mr. Roberts was born on May 28, 1928 in Wise County, Texas to Nimrod and Katie Evans Roberts.
He passed away in Crockett Texas on August 24, 2012. He attended the Pennington Baptist Church
and was a member of the Decatur Masonic Lodge A.M.& F.M.
He is survived by his children Dennis Roberts of Fredricksburg, Randy Roberts and Robin Roberts,
both of Dayton; Daughters: Cheri Stang of  Friendswood and Myra Hart of Pearland; Sister: Bobbie
Ashley of Decatur; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Roberts, David Roberts, Randy Roberts, Rian Roberts, Robin Roberts,
Wade Rober and Brian Mooney.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Groveton Funeral Home.
