Ray was born on March 27th, 1932 in Hartleton, Pennsylvania to John Bowersox and Clara (Hackenburg) Bowersox. God called Mr. Bowersox home on Saturday, March 12th, 2016 in Woodlake, Texas.
Ray loved his family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible. He also loved to hunt and during hunting season you could always find him in the woods. He was a member of the Mooselodge of Pennsylvania and went to fellow lodges within the charter to visit.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Clara (Hackenburg) Bowersox and a son, Rodney Bowersox.
Mr. Bowersox is survived by his loving wife, Margie Swearingin Bowersox of Woodlake, Texas; his children: son, Ray Bowersox, Jr. and wife Debra of Splendora, Texas; son, Charles Bowersox and wife DeAnn of Spring, Texas; son, Douglas Bowersox and wife Lisa of Kodak, Tennessee; sister, Pauline Shively of Millmon, Pennsylvania; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
