Funeral Services for Ralph Barrett, 83 years of age, of Apple Springs, will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, with Bro. Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment to follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Apple Springs. Visitation is Friday, March 18, 2011 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Groveton Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Lynn Barrett, Wayne Kritchner, James Harold Smith, Dwayne Tullos, Thomas Marshall, Robert Molina and James Carl Barrett.

He was born on January 24, 1928 in Trinity County, Texas the son of Grover Cleveland Barrett and Marilla Ann Stanley Barrett and passed away March 15, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Barbara Barrett, grandson, Stephen Petty, and granddaughter, Johnna Aliss Williamson.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 61 Years, Reba Barrett of Apple Springs, daughters and sons in law, Connie and John Williamson of Crockett, Susan "Beth" and Steve Paulson of Groveton, Tina Walker of Santa Cruise, California, Rhonda and Timothy Bagby of Lufkin, special friends, Bill Walker and Robert "Juan" Molina, 11 grandchildren, and 17great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
