Paula Jayne (McGraw) Fussell, of Friday, Texas, was born on August 23, 1956, to Paul J. McGraw and Barbara (Obar) McGraw in Bremerton, Washington and passed away peacefully to her eternal home in heaven on January 10, 2022, at the age of 65 years in Conroe, TX. surrounded by her loving family.

Paula and her parents Paul and Barbara McGraw, lived in San Diego, California, Orange Texas, and Cleveland Texas before moving to Huntsville, TX in 1962. She spent her elementary and high school years in Huntsville, where she was a member of the Huntsville High School marching band. When she Graduated High school Paula started nursing school, and worked for Huntsville Memorial Hospital, and TDCJ. Paula married the love of her life John Fussell in 1996 and moved to Friday Texas.

Paula is survived by her loving husband, John Fussell of Friday, Tx: stepson, Nathan Fussell and wife Rebel of Hillsboro, Tx; grandsons, Jessie, and Hunter Fussell of Hillsboro; mother, Barbara McGraw of Huntsville Tx; sister, Beverly Stewart and husband, Tommy of Huntsville, Tx; nephew, Thomas Stewart and wife, Malinda of Conroe, Tx; great nephew, Cohen Stewart of Conroe Tx, and a numerous Aunts, and Uncles and other relatives, and friends also survive.

Paula is preceded in death by her father: Paul J. McGraw; grandparents: Allen and Margaret Obar, Eugene and Ella McGraw, uncles: Earl, Auburn, Woodrow, Fred, John McGraw, aunt: Pauline Eubank; uncles: George Carter, John Jackson, Bill Dowdy; cousins: Kevin Obar, and Robert McGraw.

The family will welcome visitors beginning, Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Groveton Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Services will be held Monday, January 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Groveton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Reagan Cooksey officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Hill Cemetery.
