Patricia Marie Ward was born in Houston, Texas on December 25, 1950 to Bobby Eades and Jacqualyn Clark Eades. She passed away on December 19, 2018 in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 67 years.
Patricia was a wonderful woman who loved to live life to its fullest. She loved many things about her life, but her family was her greatest joy. She enjoyed spending much of her time with her children and grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She had a collection of nutcrackers' and many other decorations that pertained to the season. She also loved clowns, carrousels, dancing and fireworks. She especially enjoyed watching football and her favorite teams were Dallas Cowboys, Texans and of course the Saints were included. Patricia loved football. She didn't mind sharing her opinions about her favorite teams either. She was a woman who enjoyed all that life had to offer. She loved the Lord and attended church at First Baptist if her health would allow. She also belonged to the Shriners for many years and helped to raise funds to help children in need.
Patricia is preceded in death by her mother, Jacqualyn Eades; grandmother, Alta Mae Clark; grandson, Hunter Allen Scott; sister, Suzanne Harris; brother, Robert Eades. Her survivors include her husband, Gary Salley, of Groveton, TX; children: daughter, Anguelique Reed and husband, James Reed of Houston, TX; son, Perry Young and wife, Jennifer Young of Nogalus Prairie, TX; daughter, Misty Young-Loftin of Warren, TX; adopted daughter, Tina Thompson and husband, Charlie Thompson of Groveton, TX; grandchildren, Ashley Reed, Lynnett Mearl Arnold and Hayden Young and a host of special nieces, nephews and other beloved relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Groveton Funeral Home with Brother Lewis Jones officiating services that begin at 10:00 a.m.
