Patricia Ellen (Wilcox) Smith, of Trinity, Texas, was born on May 12, 1944, to Elmer James Wilcox and Amy Matilda (Stymax) Wilcox in Chatham, New Jersey and passed away peacefully to her eternal home in heaven on January 4, 2022, at the age of 77 years at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia loved the outdoors. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She married the love of her life June 27, 2008, in Harris County. Patricia loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She played softball and bowling. Patricia could spot a shark's tooth from ten feet away, during her beach combing. A little note from your loving husband Stephen, "You will be forever in my heart, I love you Pat."

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Stephen Smith: daughter, Tanya Kersten; son, David Buck and wife, Liz; stepchildren: Stephanie Ansly, Michelle Martindale, Michael Smith; sister-in-law: Linda Martin and husband, Dave: grandchildren: T.J., Colton, Tyler, Jarred, Lauren, Trey, Nathaniel, Ryan, Josh; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends also survive.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Amy Wilcox; husband: Harold J. Buck.

The family will be having a Memorial Service at a later date, and in Lieu of flowers, the family would like donations may be made to the American Stroke Society at AmericanStroke.org.
