Patricia Diane Smith age 59 of Rye was born on November 8, 1953 in Houston, Texas to her parents, Grady and Emma (Musick) Baker and passed away on October 1, 2013 in Kingwood, Texas. She enjoyed attending church services and was very active with the church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Elbert Baker; and two grandsons, Jack Earl Smith and Caleb Smith. Her survivors include her husband, Ernest Smith, of Rye, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tina Rene Smith, of Cleveland, Texas; son, Steven Smith, of Houston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell and Heather Smith, of Cleveland, Texas; daughter, Felicia Smith, of Moss Hill, Texas; son, Jimmy Smith and fiancé Leslie Smith, of Rye, Texas; eight grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronnie and Shirley Baker, of New Caney, Texas and Ricky and Kathy Baker, of Lovelady, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation for Mrs. Smith will be held from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM, Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Holley Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas.

Graveside services for Patricia Diane Smith will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 10:00AM at the Holley Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas with Bro. Ray Nugent officiating. Interment will follow the services in the Holley Cemetery in Lovelady, Texas.
