Funeral services for Patricia Sue Cooper, 74, of Groveton will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 7th, at the Oaklawn Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Bennett Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday afternoon beginning at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Oaklawn Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cooper was born on April 25, 1941 in Cameron, Texas to Elmer and Laura Lee (Gann) Lewis and passed away January 4, 2016. Mrs. Cooper loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Laura Lewis; sisters, Mildred Lewis, Helen Parker, and Ann Wittig; and brothers, Elmer Lewis, Jr., Bennard Lewis, and John Lewis.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband, Malcolm Cooper; children, Gary and Sharon McPike, Billy and Karen Crawford, and Scott and Deanna Sanders; grandchildren, Jordan McPike and girlfriend Ashley Camp, Kyndall McPike and boyfriend Tony DeAnda, Krista Clark, Tyler Hatt, Laura Crawford, Trevor Sanders, and Travis Sanders; great-grandchild, Presley Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Howell, Brian Aguilar, Tim Skinner, Scott Parker, Randy Parker, and Morgan Parker.
