Parley Don Starr, known to his family and friends as Don, was born in Levelland, Texas, on November 18, 1960. He passed away unexpectedly at his home in Groveton, Texas, on June 19, 2026.

Don was a simple, hardworking man who took great pride in providing for his family. When he was not working or tinkering with one of his many projects, he could often be found riding his motorcycle on the open road, taking in the beauty of God's creation.

Don never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He treasured time spent visiting with his friends and especially enjoyed the fellowship of his biker crew, whom he considered family. His kind and welcoming spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
