Opal Elizabeth Kervin, age 83, of Groveton, Texas was born on March 15, 1930 to her parents John and Inez (Creech) Fore in Sabine County and passed away on August 27, 2013 in Groveton, Texas. Mrs. Kervin was a retired cook and worked for the Corrigan School District for many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, R.C. Kervin; a son, Richard Kervin; and siblings, Hester Butler, Vivian Glover, Loraine Hickey, Charlsey Fay Keester, John Fore, Jr. and Jimmy Fore. Her survivors include four children, Bill Kervin, Susan Elder and husband, Randy, Lisa Lloyd and husband, Lester and Dan Kervin and wife, Penny; three brothers, Bob Fore, Tom Fore and Jerry Fore; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.

The family will have a memorial service for Opal Elizabeth Kervin Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating.
