Nelson Ernest Truelove, 87, of Groveton went to be with his Lord and Savior April 8, 2015 at his home in the Magee Bend Community. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Groveton Funeral Home with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. The family will have a private burial.

Nelson was born August 4, 1927 in White Co., Georgia. He served in the military as a Merchant Marine. Mr. Truelove later moved to Groveton, Texas where he spent the rest of his years. He is preceded in death by his father, Homer Everett Truelove; mother, Mamie Lee Skelton Truelove and a sister.

His survivors include his son, Edwin Truelove and wife, Virginia, of Santa Fe; five grandchildren, Michelle, John, Jason, Joshua and Joseph; special friend, Ethel Elvaker, of Zavalla; ex-wife, Shirley Truelove; numerous other relatives and friends, also survive.
