Services for Minnie Rosser Keller, age 85, of Austin, formerly of the Friday Community will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, at the Friday Community Center in Friday, with Brother W.C. Hall officiating. Interment will be private. The family will be receiving visitors from 12:00 p.m. until service time at the Friday Community Center.
The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Friday Community Center Building fund in Mrs. Keller's name.
Minnie was born on December 19, 1929 to Thomas Rosser and Gladys Preston Rosser in Friday, Texas and passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015 to be with our Lord. She worked in the educational department as a teacher for numerous years. Educating the youth was truly what Mrs. Keller enjoyed. Her survivors include her loving children, Gary Keller, Debbie Trahan and Dr. Becky Fain; three sisters, Sallie Frierson, Cora Mae McMurray and June Simpson; five grandchildren, Daniel Trahan, Denise Arnoudse, John Keller, Kristen Fain and Luke Fain; one great grandson, Levi Martin Arnoudse; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Keller is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Rosser and Gladys Rosser, her husband, Lew A. Keller; two brothers, W.G. Rosser and Isaac (Buck) Rosser and four sisters, Pauline Rosser, Wanda Page, Clementine Thompson and Maurine Jenkins.
