Funeral services for Mr. Milam Carroll "M.C." Dowdy will be held Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the East Prairie PossumWalk Cemetery with Bro. Douglas Lowery officiating. Mr. Dowdy was born February 1, 1960 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Leonard Dowdy and Pauline Mericle Dowdy and passed away in Conroe Texas on November 28, 2012 at the age of 52 years.He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a truck driver in the oil field industry. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Stacy Dowdy and Dennis Dowdy.He is survived by a daughter and son in law: Katrina and Lorenzo Sanchez of Roswell, New Mexico;two sisters: Debbie Vick of Oklahoma and Pam Bloom of Pflugerville, Texas;  Brother: Ray Dowdy of Kennard, Texas; Three grandchildren: Johnathan Renteria and Keilah Renteria and Eve Sanchez.
