Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Thompson, 93 of Yukon, Oklahoma, formerly of Groveton will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Groveton Funeral Home Cartwright Memorial Chapel with interment in the Zion Hill cemetery. Bro.D.R. McNaughton will officiate.
Mrs. Thompson was born on November 7, 1919 in Comanche, Texas and passed away on January 4, 2013 in Yukon, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years. She was a homamaker and affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jackson Nathenia McKeever and Katie Latham and a son Jack Vian.
She leaves to survive daughters:Mary Siehl of Yukon, Okla., Lorraine & husband Keith Minze of the Woodlands, Linda & husband Robert Price of Groves, and Sharon and husband Jeff Owens of Crockett; Sons: James & wife Yvonne Vian of Houston, Robert & Dorothy Vian of Willis & Thomas Vian of Iowa Park; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Charles Ray Cude, Jeffrey Owens, Brian Owens Thomas Vian, Jr. Christopher Vian, Robert Vian, Jr. , Honorary Pallbearer JackVian, Jr.
Visitation will be from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at the Groveton Funeral Home Wednesday.
