On June 8, 2024, Mary Livah Reese went home to be with the Lord at the age of ninety-one.
She was born on October 14, 1932, to George Harlan Robinson and Lois (Henderson) Robinson, in Quinlan, Texas. Mary loved her family and she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as often as possible. She was an avid reader and she also enjoyed researching genealogy.
Mrs. Reese worked in the postal service as a clerk for many years until her retirement.

Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Reese in 1996; parents, George and Lois Robinson; brother, Junior Robinson; sister, Juanna Lou Boyce.

She is survived by her sons, Albert Franklin Reese and wife, Anna Marie Reese of LaPort, Texas, and Sammy Harlen Reese and wife, Becky Reese of Houston, Texas; daughter, Lois Ann Reese Marion and husband, Patrick Marion; brother, James "Butch" Howard Robinson; sisters, Millie "Tuffy" Jo Howell, Judy Robinson Taylor; grandchildren, Christopher Anthony Albert Reese, Brian Andrew Reese, Stephen Alexander Reese, Justin Patrick Marion, Jessica Paige Lawrence, Jordan Patrick Albert Marion, Joseph Patrick Michael Marion, Jonathan Nathaniel Reese and Erin Marie Reese; great grandchildren, Cohen Lyle Lawrence, Cruz Dawn Marion, Silas Reese Lawrence and Conrad Jordan Marion; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Death leaves a memory no one can heal. But love leaves a memory no one can steal. She will always be loved and missed dearly by her family and friends.
Friends and family are cordially invited to visitation from 1 pm until 2 pm on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Groveton Funeral Home in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel. Celebration of life service to follow at 2 pm at the Groveton Funeral Home with Brother Matt Sharrock officiating. Burial to follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas.
