Mary Ellen Peacock Lisembee passed away peacefully on February 12, 2021 in Groveton, Texas. Mary was born December 22, 1936 to George H. Peacock and Rosie Delay Barnett. She graduated from Groveton High School in 1955 and later met and married Gerald D. Lisembee.
Mrs. Lisembee is preceded in death by her parents, George H. Peacock and Rosie Delay Barnett Peacock; husband, Gerald D. Lisembee; daughter, Anne Marie Hall and son, Jessie Ray Hall, Jr.
She is survived by her children: daughter, Linda Hall of Trinity, TX; daughter, Donna Lisembee of Groveton, TX; son, James Hall and wife, Stacy of Hudson, TX; grandchildren: Gerald Hall of Groveton, TX, Kenny Ray Hall of Trinity, TX, Charles and Christy Hall of Huntington, TX, Ashley Hall of Marlin, TX, Faith Hall, Chirstian Wilkerson, Anthony Flores, Logan Pillows, Nevaeh Pillows, Chevy Pillows, Riley Jo Pillows and Harmony Pillows, all of Hudson, TX; great-grandchildren: Hailey Hall of Groveton, TX, Gracie, Katy, and Katy Hall of Huntington, TX, Serenity Tate of Marlin, TX, Aleia and Kylie Wilkerson of Splendora, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends, also survive.
Due to extreme weather conditions service information has been changed:
Visitation for Mrs. Mary Ellen Peacock Lisembee will begin at 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Carlisle Cemetery in Carlisle, TX with Bro. Lewis Jones officiating. Interment Carlisle Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Kenny Ray Hall, Charlie Hall, Gerald Hall and Anthony Flores.
Letter from Grandchildren: We will always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace that you always gave to us, you always being there for all of us through the good and the bad times. No matter what we will always remember you granny; because there will never be another one to replace you in our hearts and the love, we will always have for you.
