Mary Sue Fears, 67, of Groveton, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at a local hospital in Lufkin TX.

Mary was an avid sports person. She loved to watch the Texas Rangers during baseball season, Nascar Racing, and the Dallas Cowboys during football season.

She is survived by her children: son, Matt Fears and wife, Torri Fears, daughter: Shelbie Scogin and husband, Charlie Scogin, daughter, Mandy and husband, Shane Hagler; grandchildren: Jesse, Courtney, Adam, Taylor, Harley, Hunter, Gracie, Alexis, Lane, Taryn; a host of great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends .

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Theda Helpenstell, brother, Charles Helpenstell and sister, Ruth "Maw "Mills.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Mount Zion Cemetery with Bro. Bill Bailey officiating.
