Mary Evelyn Enyart was born September 22, 1952, in Houston, Texas to parents, Buford Black and Callie Bell (Jolley) Black. She peacefully returned to her heavenly home Thursday, May 4, 2023, at the age of seventy years.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Enyart in 2018; son, Jonathan Enyart; parents, Buford, and Callie Black; sister, Pat Craft.
Mrs. Enyart is survived by her loving children: daughter, Brandy Loftin and husband, Wes Loftin of Groveton, TX; daughter, Kimberly Thornton and husband, Matthew Thornton of Chita, TX; son, Joshua Enyart and wife, Kristal of Conroe, TX; grandchildren: Jarrett Loftin, Addisyn Loftin, Kalli Enyart, Chloe Thornton, and Isabella Thornton; siblings: sister, Bonni Nerren and husband, John of Chita, TX; brother, Buddy Black of Trinity, TX; brother, Jack Black of Trinity; brother, Scott Black of San Antonio, TX; mother-in-law, Shirley Enyart of New Waverly, TX; brother-in-law, Duane Simmons and wife, Karen of New Waverly, TX; brother-in-law, Malcolm Enyart of New Waverly, TX; uncle and aunt, Tommy and Marie Enyart of Trinity, TX; nieces: Janet Williams, Cindy Shafer, Mandy Brown, and Shelly Henson; nephews: Garrett Simmons and Steven Simmons;  and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Mary worked for many years in Groveton at First Bank, now Citizens State Bank, and then went to work as the manager at Whispering Pines Golf resort.  Mary loved being around people and enjoyed sharing her infectious laugh with others.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed going on trips to the beach, shopping, decorating, and spending time in her yard. She rarely met a stranger and was a friend to many. She enjoyed helping others and trying to lift others up who were having a bad day.  She loved the Lord and enjoyed attending church services.
Visitation for Mrs. Mary Enyart will begin Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Kenneth Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Holhausen-Darby Cemetery in Moscow, TX.
