Martha Thorne Tullos was born on November 16, 1942 in Lakeview, Oregon and went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2015 at her home in Huntsville, Texas. She was a long time resident of Huntsville and worked for numerous years for the State of Texas until her retirement. Martha was a faithful member of Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Duron and Clara Thorne; brothers, C.W. and Leggette Thorne; sister, Lilly Harrison and the father of her children, James M. Tullos. Martha leaves to cherish her memory her two children, son, Jim Tullos and wife, Jasmine Tullos and daughter, Tanya Tullos, all of Huntsville, Texas; two brothers, Duron Thorne and wife, Beckie Thorne, of Groveton, Texas and Freddie Thorne and wife, Chris Thorne, of Helmic, Texas; four sisters, Dorothy Harbuck, of Lufkin, Texas, Jeanette Thorne, of Pearland, Texas, Patsy Hoagland, of Mobile, Alabama and Betty Lawson and husband, Henry Lawson, of Lufkin, Texas; seven grandchildren, Amy, Annie, James Dean, Duron, Jethro and Jozette; three great grandchildren, Jessie, Joseph and Lenual; a host of other relatives and cherished friends, also survive.

Memorial services to be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the Elks Lodge in Huntsville, Texas. The address is 3400 Elks Drive. The family will have a bow out visible because the drive in is somewhat hard to be seen.
