Madonna Kathryn Hurley-Page, 81, of the Friday Community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at a medical facility in Huntsville, Texas.

Madonna was born in Douglas, Arizona, to Timothy and Daisy (Kilgore) Hurley. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, gifted teacher, talented artist, and compassionate friend to many.

For 43 years, Madonna dedicated her life to public education, teaching in Arizona and Texas. Her passion for learning and nurturing others touched countless students throughout her career. She earned her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at El Paso and her master’s degree in education from the University of Phoenix in Arizona.

Madonna’s creativity extended far beyond the classroom. She was a gifted artist whose beautiful paintings, sketches, and pottery reflected her imagination and love of life. She was also a wonderful cook who delighted in preparing meals for her family. Her compassion reached every living creature, and she was a devoted lover of animals, great and small.

Her faith was an important part of her life, and she attended services at My Father’s House at Scrub Creek. On June 5, 1974, she married the love of her life, Gaylan Page. Together, they shared 49 years of marriage filled with love, family, and cherished memories until his passing in 2023.

Madonna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gaylan Page; her parents, Timothy and Daisy Hurley; and her sister, Patricia Hurley.

She leaves behind her two adoring children: son Jason Talon Page and wife, Laura, of Gilbert, Arizona; and daughter Kathryn Page Miller and husband, Kenneth, of the Friday Community of Groveton, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hunter Page, Laynee Page, Mya Page, River Miller, Annie Miller, and Harper Miller; her sister, Barbara Skaggs of Nambe, New Mexico; and numerous extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Madonna’s life was defined by love, compassion, creativity, faith, and an enduring dedication to others. Her family will carry her memory in their hearts and find comfort in the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

The family will host memorial services on Friday, October 9, 2026, beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the Friday Community Center in Friday, Texas. Pastor John Smith will officiate.
