Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille "Peggy" Windham, 88 of Pennington, Texas will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday at the Zion Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Dee Queen officiating. Interment will be at the Pennington
Cemetery.
Mrs. Windham was born in Laneville, Texas on January 18, 1924 to Bryant and Ada Tucker McCune and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 20, 2012  in Lufkin, Texas. She was a homemaker and attended the Zion Hill Baptist Church.
She leaves to survive her a son Richard Warren and family of Henderson, Texas, Daughters: Donna
Sue Edwards, Kay Hopkins, Tammie and husband Anthony Wars of Pennington, Texas; Grandchildren: Cheryl Edwards of Pennington, Jake Duke and partner Derek of Houston,Texas, Cody Duke of Pennington; Great Grandchildren: J.D. Edwards & Shelby Carlock of Pennington, Texas; Brother: James "Bud" McCune
of Borne, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Greg Green, Brady Green, Jimmy Dempsey, Lonnie Shellnut, Justin Garrison and J.D.
Edwards.
Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 P.M. Wednesday at Groveton Funeral Home.
