Louise Marie Seamans, of Trinity, passed away December 21, 2022, at the age of ninety-one. Louise was born on October 8, 1931, in Morrilton, Arkansas to father, John George Hoelzeman and mother, Elizabeth Marie (Sponer) Hoelzeman.
Louise loved spending time with all of her family. She was proud to be able to tell everyone that she had a total of ninety-three children in her direct line. She especially enjoyed woodworking and she genuinely enjoyed working on the band saw. Louise loved fishing with a cane pole, playing cards, creating notebooks with a lot of thoughtful tips i.e., recipes and health tips, cooking, listening to classic country music and gospel music. Louise was also a faithful child of God. She was raised in the Catholic Church as a child and chose to remain of the catholic faith until she married her late husband Jack Seamans who was of the Baptist faith. Louise was always willing to help and support the Baptist ministry.
Mrs. Seamans leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving children: daughter, Deborah Dixon and husband, Thomas; son, John Curtis Seamans and wife, Kristy; daughter, Peggy Vanek and husband, Robert; son, Frank Seamans and wife, Libby; son, Billy Seamans and wife, Judy; daughter, Donna Jones and husband, Mark; thirty-two grandchildren; thirty-five great grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and many friends also survive.
Mrs. Seamans is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Seamans; parents, John, and Elizabeth Hoelzeman; brother, Frank Hoelzeman; and many beloved in-laws.
The family will receive visitors for Mrs. Louise Marie Seamans on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Groveton Funeral Home in Groveton, Texas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Glendale Baptist Church in Glendale, Texas with Pastor John Valenta officiating. Interment will follow in the Glendale Cemetery.
