Linda Marie Jones, age 64, of Groveton, was born on July 16, 1949 to her parents, George and Verna (Vickery) Jones in Houston, Texas and went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 25, 2014 in Lufkin. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Highway 94 Church of Christ with Pastors Rodney Langley and Neil Kemper officiating. Burial will take place in Bennett Cemetery.

She worked for numerous years as an Accountant Clerk for the Haliburton, Corporation. Linda had a kind and gentle nature about her. She would do whatever she could to help anyone who was in need. She loved her Lord and Savior and worshiped at the Highway 94 Church of Christ in Groveton. While she was able, Linda was active with the church and helped in many facets. She also served as a member of the Groveton Lions Club. She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; as well as her two sisters, Janelle Jones and Diane Forsythe. She leaves behind numerous other relatives and friends.
