Lillian Allie "Little Bit" Malone, 78, of Woodlake, Texas, on April 15, 2015 received an offer that couldn't be refused, an appointment from which she would not return. The assignment came with a huge sign on bonus, a reunion with family & friends, not seen in a very long time.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Damascus Baptist Church in Corrigan. Pastors Norman Want and Curtis Jordan will officiate. The family will have a private burial. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday morning at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice in the Pines or to Groveton EMS.

Lillian was born March 15, 1937 in Corrigan, Texas and that is where she was raised. She moved off when she married her late husband, Buford and they returned to East Texas to live in Woodlake and raise their family from 1970 until her death. She worked at the Hope Center for boys for numerous years. She enjoyed being able to help the youth. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and swimming. Lillian also enjoyed horseback riding, going on trail rides, particularly the Dogwood Trail ride. She loved her Chihuahuas', Chance, Clyde and Chica. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Malone; parents, Crit and Letha Richardson; sisters, Maxine "Pete" Wosnitzky and Patti Miller; brothers, Curtis Richardson and J.O. Richardson. Her survivors include her daughter, Christie Abbott and husband, Tony of Stockton, California; son, Jeff Malone, of Woodlake, Texas; daughter, Melody French, of Onalaska, Texas; granddaughter, Sharon Marsh and husband, Jeff, of Lodi, California; granddaughter, Valerie Abbott, of Stockton, California; granddaughter, Monica White, of Woodlake, Texas; granddaughter, Erin Malone, of El Paso, Texas; granddaughter, Chelse Noyes, and husband, Michael, of Washington, D.C.; grandson, Garrett French, of Trinity, Texas; grandson, Russell French, of Onalaska, Texas; great-grandson, Jared White, of Waller, Texas; great-granddaughter, Savannah White, of Woodlake, Texas; great-grandson, Mason French, of Trinity, Texas.
