Graveside Services for Leonard Charlie Snyder 85, of Groveton, Texas will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 28, 2011 in the Glenwood Cemetery in Groveton, Texas with Bro. Buford Rogers to officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM—7:00 PM on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in the Cartwright Memorial Chapel of the Groveton Funeral Home.

He was born September 11, 1925, to John Charlie Snyder and Eddie Onelia Dunn Snyder in Ratcliff, Texas and passed away on March 25, 2011 in Groveton, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Snyder in 1995 and his parents.

Leonard is survived by his son and daughter in law, Douglas C. Snyder and Karen D. Snyder of Groveton, daughter, Carolyn F. Snyder of Groveton, grandson, Brandon S. Snyder of Conroe, step daughter, Elizabeth Calvert, step granddaughter, Rebecca A. Williams of Groveton, brothers, Emmett Snyder and Louis Snyder, sister, Lois Sisson Howell, 2 great grandchildren, and 5 step great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
