Lenard Leo Mericle was born December 22, 1940 in the Possum Walk Community of Groveton, TX to William and Ernestine (West) Mericle. God called Lenard home on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the age of 79 years in Kingwood, TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeffie Mericle; parents, William and Ernestine Mericle; two brothers: Glenn Mericle and Joe Mericle and two sisters: Agnes Mericle and Sue Mericle. Survivors include his sister, Evelena Blue of Crockett, TX; brother, Wayne Mericle (Llana Jean) of Groveton, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at East Prairie Cemetery with Wyatt Mericle officiating.
