Funeral Services for Laura Genevieve Pruitt, 69, of Groveton, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in the Chita Baptist Church in Chita, Texas with interment to follow in the Chita Cemetery. Ministers, Russell Lee, Neil Kemper and Lewis Jones will be officiating.

Genevieve was born on June 20, 1941 in Groveton, Texas the daughter of the late Lloyd Samuel Pruitt and the late Lillar Beatrice DeLaFosse Pruitt. She passed away on October 19, 2010 in Groveton, Texas.

She is survived by her sister, Sammy Charline Pruitt Tullos, brother, Lloyd Dean Pruitt, Niece Charlotte Tullos Y'Barbo and husband Rickie, Niece Sharlene Tullos Yarbrough and husband Arthur, great nephews, Andrew Y'Barbo, Samuel Yarbrough, and Caleb Yarbrough, all of Groveton, Texas. Numerous other relatives and friends.
